CHARMANT NAMIKI St. GINZA is a space that visualizes the creativity of the CHARMANT brand to offer visitors a first-hand experience.
The name “CHARMANT NAMIKI St. GINZA” befits the new phase of activities that begin right here, on the 1st and 2nd floors of the historical Carioca Building on Namiki St., Ginza.
The black gate is the expressive symbol of this space. Black is a color both somber and full of mystique. CHARMANT’s characteristic temple design is featured on the handles of the entrance door.
When you enter through the black gate, you will find the eye examination room and the fitting room on the right. The rooms are furnished with walls of light—symbolizing the functional space that offers the best, optimal services.
The black granite stairs at the end of the first floor is equipped with a stainless steel handrail which plays a significant role in this space.
The black eyewear wall is an original display format that allows the visitor to rotate the eyeglasses without handling them, for a full view from all directions.
The eyewear wall is equipped with pull-out style chairs that allow customers to make their selections in a leisurely manner. Based on the concept that eyeglasses are eyewear—full length mirrors are provided.
The second floor is laid out with bias-style flooring. The walls feature an ombré gradation using tri-colored “Wonderkokutan” ebony to create an organic space, full of movement.
The walls for the head shape measurement and eye examination area and the “Image Creative” room are set up in an irregular formation as a way to lighten the oppressiveness of these spaces.
The “Image Creative” room walls are made of stainless steel. The surfaces were hand-polished for a highly organic finish. This is the place where eyewear takes center stage to create and transmit new beauty and new images.
